2015 Money Motivation Workout Challenge

It’s that time again to get your booty in shape.

How it works – 

$25 buy in - Money is due by January 10 to keep you in the competition.
Starting January 5

Weigh in every Monday by emailing or texting me a picture of you weight on the scale by 10 am. No one but myself will ever see your actual weight. Every Sunday I will post a word that you will have to put in your picture when you send it. It's easiest to write the word on a paper and then put the paper on your feet. This word will help keep people honest about when they are weighing themselves each week.

*I won't be rounding any weights this time. Most everyone has a digital scale and I can calculate percentages using digits just as easy as I can rounding numbers.

Penalties-
 $1 for every pound gained in a week 

If your weight stays the same, no penalty

$5 for every missed weigh in, so even if you have no change please send in your weight by 10 am.
Penalty money will be kept separate from the main winnings amount.

Send in a before picture of yourself. I know it’s not the most flattering thing to take but you don’t need to wear a swimsuit. Just wear a tighter shirt and pants. Then we will take after pictures. I may post the top 3 winners at the end, but mostly these pictures will help me to know you didn’t cheat.

Contest will run for 10 weeks


Rules – this is a lifestyle change so we want to focus on eating healthy and getting our bodies moving

NO- fast fixed diets 

No- diet pills or supplements

No- juice cleanses

No- medical aids

No- laxatives

If you have questions about something being ok or not please ask.

   
*If I do catch anyone cheating you will be disqualified and you will not receive your money back.

*If you chose to drop out of the competition your money is {non} refundable......NO EXCEPTIONS

 

Winnings

 
Winners will be determined by percentage of weight lost. (starting weight – ending weight / starting weight x 100)

 
Each week I will post the weekly percentages and overall percentages for everyone. This will give you a good idea on where you stand each week so you can push yourself for the next week.

At the end of 10 weeks

The top 3 people with the biggest percentage lost will win money. (After everyone has paid and I know how much money we have for sure I will post the amounts. 1st will receive the most money)

 

The remaining people not in the top three will be put into a raffle to win the penalty money. This will hopefully help keep you motivated to stay in the competition.
(I'm thinking of changing this to anyone not in top 3 that has lost 5% or more will be put into a raffle, just to keep you motivated more to keep working. I want to hear your thoughts on that.)

6% Summer Challenge


6% Challenge
How it works –

We are setting a goal of losing 6% body weight. If you meet the 6% at the end of 5 weeks you will get your money back. If you don't hit 6% your money will go into a pot to either be divided between the players that did meet the goal, or will go to the player with the highest percentage lost.

$25 buy in - Money is due by June 13 to keep you in the competition.

Weigh in every Monday by emailing or texting me a picture of your weight on the scale by 10 am. No one but myself will ever see your actual weight.

New- To make sure everyone is taking a picture of their weight at the same time, Sunday night I will post a "word of the day" and you will have to write that word on a paper and put it on your scale, like on your feet. I will post an example picture to show you. I will post the word on here and on the Facebook group. I'm not worried about using a mirror this time, but if you want to use one because you're super honest feel free. I don't want to make extra steps but I want to keep everyone honest.

Penalties-

$5 for every missed weigh in, so even if you have no change please send in your weight by 10 am.
Penalty money will be added to the pot of people that didn't meet the 6% goal. I will just deduct this amount from your buy in. So if you miss your weigh in once but still hit your 6% you will only get $20 back.
