I've learned that eating healthy and getting up to exercise in the morning is a lot harder to do in the summer than I thought it would be. Anyone else come to this conclusion?

Happy first week!!! Doesn't it feel good to be back on track!! Hopefully with only 5 weeks we can keep this momentum up!

I still haven't decided about the extra money. I'm leaning towards biggest loser. Let me know what you think.

6% Summer Challenge


6% Challenge
How it works –

We are setting a goal of losing 6% body weight. If you meet the 6% at the end of 5 weeks you will get your money back. If you don't hit 6% your money will go into a pot to either be divided between the players that did meet the goal, or will go to the player with the highest percentage lost.

$25 buy in - Money is due by June 13 to keep you in the competition.

Weigh in every Monday by emailing or texting me a picture of your weight on the scale by 10 am. No one but myself will ever see your actual weight.

*I won't be rounding weights this time. Most everyone has a digital scale and I can just use the actual weight*

New- To make sure everyone is taking a picture of their weight at the same time, Sunday night I will post a "word of the day" and you will have to write that word on a paper and put it on your scale, like on your feet. I will post an example picture to show you. I will post the word on here and on the Facebook group. I'm not worried about using a mirror this time, but if you want to use one because you're super honest feel free. I don't want to make extra steps but I want to keep everyone honest.

Penalties-

$5 for every missed weigh in, so even if you have no change please send in your weight by 10 am.
Penalty money will be added to the pot of people that didn't meet the 6% goal. I will just deduct this amount from your buy in. So if you miss your weigh in once but still hit your 6% you will only get $20 back. 

Send in a before picture of yourself. I know it’s not the most flattering thing to take but you don’t need to wear a swimsuit. Just wear a tighter shirt and pants. Then we will take after pictures. I may post the top 3 winners at the end, but mostly these pictures will help me to know you didn’t cheat.

Contest will run for 5 weeks
Final weigh in will be July 14,2014.


Rules – this is a lifestyle change so we want to focus on eating healthy and getting our bodies moving

NO- fast fixed diets

No- diet pills or supplements (Like Ace & No Body Wraps)

No- juice cleanses

No- medical aids

No- laxatives

*If you chose to drop out of the competition your money is {non} refundable......NO EXCEPTIONS



Winnings


Winners will be determined by percentage of weight lost. (starting weight – ending weight / starting weight x 100)


Each week I will post the weekly percentages and overall percentages for everyone. This will give you a good idea on where you stand each week so you can push yourself for the next week.

If you hit your goal of 6% your will get your $25 returned to you. If you don't hit your goal you will not get your money back.
